Wasnt invited to my brothers last minutes small wedding, but they sent.....?

There is no way I would give a gift, they aren't compulsory even if you are invited let alone when you're not. They sound incredibly selfish given that they asked your mother to pay for everything and didn't even invite her, I would not talk to them again to be honest.
