Root Cs?

Having a double root c in the morning, a molar and bicuspid........im using novacain but thats all. Are they painfull? I have NO pain now, but still need these done. I should not need any days off of work (besides the day they do the procedure) right? I have had all wisdoms out- please say it feels nothing like that?????? Thanks
