Best answer anyone???????/?

can someone help me to understand meiosis and mitosis? that is, prophase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase. then for meiosis prophase I and II, metaphase I and II, anaphase I and II, and then lastly telophase and cytokinesis I and II???? i've read it over and over again but lose focus prior to actually getting any of it beyond some superficial meaning.
