How do i recycle if there is no curb side service at my apartment building?

ive been here for months, and my kitchen cabinits are FULL of cardboard, cans and and gl. ive had enouph of it. im about to toss it all in the garbage unless someone can tell me of a place in the emeryville/oakland area where i can take this stuff. please help!
