Are Brazilians pro or anti Hugo Chavez?

Most Brazilians do not support nor reject Hugo Chavez. Foreign policy does not rank high in people's concerns. The Brazilian government has currently a "everybody is a friend" policy, so you would expect tolerance for Chavez among the Brazilian bureaucracy. On the other hand, among the Brazilian economic and cultural elite (including most of the most respected Brazilian media outlets) Chavez is despised.
